In-Service Renovations

Tied to the cost of construction is the cost of closing beds or facilities.  An answer to this is in-service renovations:  Working around your staff and existing facilities to get the construction accomplished.

As you might expect, hammer-drills and neuro-surgery do not make a good combination.   There are inherant savings to in-service renovations, though there are also potential drawbacks.
