Dear Members,
Governor Holden has signed a proclamation declaring
Health Care Facilities Management Week from October 20 - 26, 2002.
Take this time to share with other employees your vital role in
keeping a safe, secure and functioning environment. Use this week
to recognize your department and the professionalism of the employee’s.
The MSHFM President Elect and I attended the 2002
ASHE Annual Conference and Technical Exhibition in Nashville, Tennessee
on July 29 -31, 2002. We attended the Chapter Leadership Training
on Sunday and were presented with a “ GOLD Award ” for our
chapters work in 2001. There were more than 3,000 healthcare professionals
and vendors in attendance which set a record for conference attendance.
The ASHE 2003 Annual Conference and Technical Exhibition will be
held July 14 - 16, in San Antonia, Texas. I hope to see you there.
There is a great article in INSIDE ASHE September 2002 Volume
