Dear Members:

I want to thank everyone for their support and assistance during this year. It was great to see so many of you at the MHA convention and trade show. We were blessed to have great speakers who were helpful in looking at our present situations in the healthcare industry. If you were not there, Robert Hintz, III, is the incoming president. The president elect is Doug Ruble from Hannibal. The secretary is Mike Bock and the directors at large are Mike Orlaska and Stan Link. Bob will need to select the associate member for the Board of Directors. The bylaws were approved along with the 2001 budget.

 

It has been a great year for our chapter. The balance sheet is up about $1500 from last year at this time. We received a gold chapter award at the ASHE convention in Seattle. Bob is planning a trade show and convention for the spring. He needs volunteers to help pull this off. He is working with David Potter on having Doug Erickson as the featured speaker. If you have ever heard Doug, you know how good he is. His talks usually cost in the neighborhood of $600 to hear him speak. Bob is offering a very competitive fee for the spring to get this opportunity off to a good start.
