MSHFM Membership Meeting
November 8, 2001

Attendance

Treasurer Report as of September 30, 2001, there is a balance of $7,446.59.

Bob Hintz has stepped down and Doug Rubles has taken the position as president.

Doug is taking over web site.  Information from this meeting will be posted on the web page in December.

Having problems with membership attendance.  Sent out request for ways to improve attendance.  Received only couple responses.  Group was asked what they thought could be done.  Any ideas can e-mail Doug at doug.rubleChrhonline.org.

A plaque for Bob Hintz will be given to him by Doug Ruble.

Looking at sending letter to CEO's to express importance of membership in this organization.

Discussed changes in bylaws.  No response for nomination for directors or president.

The following were appointed:

• Donna Sprinkle, Director
• Weldon Evans, President-elect 2003
• Tobias, associate member, will to serve another year
• Dan Eyerly, Director

Morning speaker, David Hevel, spoke on "Change?"

Afternoon speaker, Dan Eckles, spoke on "Trends in Hospital Construction Regulation".

All were encouraged to attend the MSHFM Hospitality Suite after meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 4 p.m.
