MSHFM Board Meeting

The meeting was called to order by the president/elect, Mike Bock at 10:00AM

Financial – Treasurer reported $5,213.92

Bob Black, Capital Performance Management LLC, met with the group to help setup/design future meeting and presentations to increase attendance for the MSHFM chapter as well as ASHE Region 8. First thing is to schedule well in advance so people can plan to attend. Everyone is very busy these days. The group spent the morning planning for the 2006 meeting improvements.

Meeting dates for 2006/2007 were set:
· February 3, 2006
· May 5, 2006
· August 4, 2006
· November 9, 2006
· February 2, 2007
· May 4, 2007
· August 3, 2007
· November 8, 2007

Locations and content for the meetings were discussed. Some suggestions for the 2006 meetings were: Bio-terrorism, JCAHO Tracer, JCAHO Statement of Condition, property management and golf tournament in August for a big draw/fundraiser.

2006 MSHFM president, Mike Bock, will be sending letter to all members prior to year’s end to encourage better participation next year.

Group decided to finalize the 2006 agendas during the Tan-Tar-A MHA Convention at the business meeting.
