MSHFM Board Meeting February 3, 2006 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EOC Update and Changes in the way JACHO will review Hospitals We have made arrangements for Dean Samet to discuss the way JACHO will approach an Environments of Care review of facilities in the new “unannounced visit” process. Dean’s presentation is a “must attend” for all of you who haven’t experienced the new accreditation process from JACHO. Following Dean’s presentation, we will have a round table discussion of the inspection process, moderated by Dean. The panel will include people responsible for Environments of Care who have recently been inspected and give you a chance to hear how the experience went. 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Property Management for Healthcare Providers Heartland Regional Medical Center implemented a new approach to capital construction, facility operations, and property development that has changed the way they do business.
